This notice covers the Vinova Lab institutional website and general company enquiries. Products, customer platforms, and tailored B2B solutions may publish separate privacy notices or contractual documentation describing their specific processing activities.
Who is responsible
Vinova Lab, an AI product company incorporated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@vinovalab.ai. General company enquiries can be sent to info@vinovalab.ai.
Information we receive
Depending on how you interact with Vinova Lab, we may receive:
- your name, business contact details, organisation, role, and message;
- information included in product, partnership, supplier, recruitment, or media enquiries;
- communications and records created while responding to an enquiry or developing a business relationship;
- limited technical information, such as IP address, request time, browser information, and security logs, processed to deliver and protect the website;
- aggregate measurement of website use — pages viewed, referring site, country, browser and device type — collected without cookies and without any identifier that would allow us to recognise you on a later visit. Section 04 describes this in detail.
Please do not send confidential documents, credentials, sensitive personal information, or production data through a general enquiry unless we have agreed an appropriate channel and purpose.
Why we use it
We use personal information where necessary to:
- respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
- evaluate and manage potential or existing business relationships;
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the institutional website;
- understand, in aggregate, which pages are read and where visitors come from, so that we can decide what to keep, correct, or remove;
- protect Vinova Lab, its systems, users, and legal rights;
- comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting obligations.
Depending on the context and applicable law, processing may rely on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent where specifically requested. Consent can be withdrawn for future processing where it is the applicable basis.
Where applicable law uses this framework, the aggregate website measurement described in section 04 relies on our legitimate interest in understanding whether the website serves its readers. We consider that interest proportionate because the measurement is designed so that it cannot identify anyone: it sets nothing on your device, does not retain your IP address, and cannot connect visits made on different days.
Website technology
This institutional website is designed to collect as little information as reasonably necessary. Hosting, network, and security infrastructure may process technical request information and logs required to deliver the site, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse.
The website measures how it is used, with Umami — an open-source analytics tool that Vinova Lab runs on its own infrastructure. The measurement data is not sent to an advertising network, is not sold, and is not shared with third parties.
The measurement is built so that it cannot identify a visitor. It sets no cookie and writes nothing to browser storage. Your IP address is used in transit, to derive an approximate country, and is not stored. Repeat visits within the same day are counted once using a value derived from technical request data together with a secret that is replaced every day; once replaced, visits from one day can no longer be connected to visits from another. What remains is a readership report — which pages were read, from where, on what kind of device — and not a record of a person.
The Cookie Policy explains why this measurement does not require a consent banner. If cookies, marketing technologies, or any technology that stores or reads information on your device are introduced, this notice and an appropriate consent mechanism will be updated before they are used.
Service providers and disclosure
Vinova Lab does not sell personal information. Limited information may be processed by providers supporting hosting, infrastructure, security, email, collaboration, and professional services, subject to appropriate requirements for their role.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal rights, or needed to protect people, systems, and services. Product-specific providers and subprocessors are described in the relevant product notice or customer documentation where appropriate.
International operations
Vinova Lab operates from the United Arab Emirates and serves international markets. Personal information may therefore be processed in countries other than the country in which it was collected.
Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, Vinova Lab will use an appropriate legal mechanism and measures suited to the processing context.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, including relationship management, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Different records may require different retention periods.
The aggregate measurement described in section 04 is kept so that readership can be compared over time. Those records contain no identifier that can be traced back to a person, and no request is needed to be excluded from them: they never identified you in the first place.
We apply technical and organisational measures according to the nature of the information and associated risk. More information about our corporate security approach is available on the Security page.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Requests can be sent to privacy@vinovalab.ai. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the information or processing concerned. You may also have the right to complain to the competent data-protection authority in your country.
Products, documents, and AI
This website notice does not govern documents or other information processed within a Vinova Lab product or customer solution. Those activities depend on the product, customer instructions, deployment model, integrations, and contractual relationship.
In B2B engagements, a customer may act as controller while Vinova Lab acts as processor on the customer's documented instructions. The applicable agreement, data-processing terms, and product notice define those roles and responsibilities.
Customer documents and sensitive business information are not treated as an unrestricted corpus for training general-purpose models. Product-specific notices explain whether derived or anonymised information may be used to improve specialised capabilities and under what conditions.
Specific processing requires specific information.
Each product publishes a notice appropriate to its users, data, purpose, and integrations.
rAInty Privacy Policy
Product-specific information for rAInty, including account, rental, financial, and Open Banking data where those features are used.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website, company operations, providers, or applicable requirements evolve. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required.
